Miles Davis 100 år - Friday 30 October – Nefertiti Few artists have changed the direction of music like Miles Davis.

From the birth of cool jazz in the late 1940s to modal masterpieces such as Kind of Blue and on to electric experiments with Bitches Brew – Miles Davis never stood still. He redefined jazz, time and again. Always one step ahead. Always moving.

Kind of Blue remains the world's best-selling jazz album. Milestones marked the beginning of something new. Together, they represent a turning point in music history – where improvisation found a new language and simplicity became depth.

This evening, we celebrate 100 years of innovation, intensity and beauty.

Trumpeter Samuel Olsson (Bohuslän Big Band) brings together some of Sweden's finest jazz musicians to interpret the music of Milestones and Kind of Blue:

Linus Lindblom – tenor saxophone

Carl Bagge – piano

Niklas Fernqvist – bass

Daniel Fredriksson – drums

It will be an evening where every note carries history – yet also feels fully alive in the present.

If you have a standing ticket, the unreserved high tables in the venue are available on a first-come, first-served basis. If seated tickets are sold out, all tables are reserved.

If you are coming alone or in a smaller group, you may be seated at a table with others.

Information about pre-ordering food:

If you book seated tickets, we offer the option to pre-order our concert menu. You will find our three options (meat, fish and vegetarian) in step 2 after selecting the number of seated tickets.

Pre-booked dinners are given priority. Food ordered at the venue may therefore take a little longer to arrive.

Our fixed menu of smaller dishes is available at the venue.
