John Stowell is a unique American jazz guitarist whose original approach to harmony, chords and improvisation sets him apart.

He has toured worldwide since the 1970s and has recorded several albums with, among others, guitarist Ulf Bandgren, as well as two albums with Rolf Jardemark: "Cosmology" in 2016 and "Maj Constantia" in 2023.

Rolf Jardemark has hosted jam sessions at Nefertiti and now at Unity Jazz and Utopia Jazz.

He runs his own record label, Guiterlandrecords, and writes and arranges music mainly for his own groups and projects.

Jazz improvisation is a common thread running through his work.
