The collaboration with John Stowell (Portland, USA) began in 2025, and we are exploring the boundaries of improvisation and composition.

John Stowell is a unique American jazz guitarist whose original approach to harmony, chords and improvisation sets him apart.

He has toured worldwide since the 1970s and has recorded several albums with, among others, guitarist Ulf Bandgren, as well as two albums with Rolf Jardemark: "Cosmology" in 2016 and "Maj Constantia" in 2023.

Rolf Jardemark has worked as a jam session host at Nefertiti and now at Unity Jazz and Utopia Jazz.

He runs his own record label, Guiterlandrecords, and writes and arranges music primarily for his own groups and projects.

Jazz improvisation is a common thread running through all his work.
