Gong + Khadavra

Gong return to Gothenburg and Musikens Hus! Gong’s universe began in 1969 when Daevid Allen was inspired by a profound psychedelic vision.

As one of the founders of Soft Machine, Allen wove his spiritual and metaphysical ideas into an ever-changing collective – more a mythology than a traditional band.

The current line-up, assembled by Daevid for his final album with Gong, "I See You", honours his wish that the band should not end with his passing. He urged them to “take it forward to new, unknown heights and depths, far beyond anything I could ever have imagined”.

The band’s latest release, Bright Spirit, is the third instalment in the trilogy that began with 2019’s The Universe Also Collapses and continued with 2023’s Unending Ascending.
