Siena Root

SIENA ROOT

The band began playing gigs in the Stockholm area back in the late 90s, and recorded their debut album in 2003.

This was a time when many people were throwing away their old vinyl collections and putting their turntables in the attic.

From the very beginning, Siena Root set out to refine the art of analogue music-making. With 7 albums under their belt, the band are now considered pioneers of contemporary roots rock.

The band have shared the stage with everyone from legends such as Deep Purple and Ten Year After to contemporary bands on the scene such as Blues Pills, All Them Witches and Kadavar.

In March 2020, more than 600 gigs later, the band released their 8th album, "The Secret of Our Time".

Siena Root have mostly operated as an experimental musical collective, hence the group's many different line-ups.

The core touring line-up, covering guitar, vocals, organ, bass and drums, consists of Sam Riffer, Love H Forsberg, Johan Borgström and Zubaida Solid.

The gigs are uncompromising in every way, from bringing along all the heavy vintage equipment that most bands lack the passion to haul onto the stage to ensuring that no two gigs are alike, as the band constantly push musical boundaries and reinvent themselves.

Their immense commitment to bringing classic rock to the stage makes Siena Root stand out from the crowd.

Morrhår

Astrorock from Ring Island!

Morrhår navigate a land of vibrations, where heavy riffs meet mellower Southern spliffs. Guided by their whiskers, they manage to keep one foot on the planet and lead the audience through a world of good vibes and astro-cuddles.

Rödtjut

Framtiden var bättre förr! At least according to the hard prog rockers in Rödtjut.

It's not just an incredible statement; it's also the title of the band's latest release, which came out this summer.

If Ian Anderson had joined Black Sabbath instead of Tony Iommi having a fling with Jethro Tull, it might have sounded like Rödtjut...
