Kryptograf + Thick

Kryptograf Your new favourite band from Bergen!

Over the past few years, Kryptograf have established themselves as a very exciting band in the riff-heavy rock jungle! As far as we know, they haven't visited Gothenburg before, so it feels great to finally bring them here!

Do you like the early ’70s, triple SGs and Norwegian riff-driven psychedelia? Then Kryptograf are the band for you!

With three cracking albums under their belt, they're making a stop at Hängmattan, and you're invited to the rock party!

Thick

Thick were formed in 2009 by three friends with a single mission: to supply the world with thick rock. After playing many a gig in and around Gothenburg, they released their long-awaited debut album Audio Obesity in 2022. The title naturally reflects the album's contents, but also the live experience: the rock sounds as thick as only Thick can make it, with their updated take on blues rock pushing boundaries and challenging traditions. There may only be three people on stage, but they sound like more as their broad waves of sound take up an outrageous amount of space in the room.

Their 2024 EP Get a Ride has been getting plenty of plays around the world, according to the figures, and word has it that new music is coming this year.

Rock out brothers and sisters!
