She Past Away + Bird And Beast

Klubb DÖD proudly presents: She Past Away + Bird And Beast SHE PAST AWAY – She Past Away is the Turkish darkwave band that has made an international name for itself with its reworked 80s sound.

The distinctive guitar sound of the post-punk era is combined with minimalist poetry in Turkish. She Past Away’s roots go back to 2006, when Volkan, the band’s vocalist, began writing music. Their first EP, “Kasvetli Kutlama”, was recorded in 2010, and their debut album, “Belirdi Gece”, was released in 2012.

BIRD AND BEAST – Bird And Beast surround themselves with noise, heavy bass, melancholic tones and shimmering chorus guitars – a sinister but beautiful blend of 90s trip-hop, darkwave and 80s industrial synths. They draw inspiration from bands such as Portishead, Chelsea Wolfe, Skinny Puppy, The Cure, Cocteau Twins, DAF and more.
