FÆLT

After a few gigs that blew the roof off, the phenomenon that is FÆLT became an eagerly awaited band at Folkklubb. Tonight, the trio presents a new show combining the primeval forests of tradition with nightclub beats. Through fiddle, nyckelharpa, synths, electronics and vocals, they create a dance-floor experience that is equal parts club and traditional folk dancing. New, yet ancient at the same time.

ADM

Do you love folk dancing but want to dance non-stop to mesmerising beats? Or club music, but miss acoustic instruments and live musicians?

Now you no longer have to choose. ADM brings together the hypnotic energy of the club and the swing of folk dancing – in long, mesmerising stretches of acoustic music that invite you to dance the polska, schottische and waltz. The septet plays music arranged live under the direction of pianist Olov ”Klyv-Olle” Lindroth.

Vilja-Louise Skough Åborn och Albin Broberg

Vilja-Louise Skough Åborn och Albin Broberg create a mesmerising sound world where vocals, mora-oud and electronics meet. Modal melodies, close interplay and expansive sonic spaces are woven together into a rich, atmospheric whole. The music moves through an experimental soundscape between tradition and improvisation.
