Rymden

Finally back – After sold-out shows at major arenas, you can now see them again at an intimate jazz club.

Rymden brings together Nordic jazz musicians of the highest calibre – as sold-out concerts and critical acclaim attest.

Here, jazz is expanded with progressive rock, minimalism and art music. With the trio’s roots in Esbjörn Svenssons Trio, elements of that legacy are carried forward.

If the quintessential “Scandinavian sound” is a meditation on snow-covered mountains, misty beech forests and tranquil fjords, Rymden is its antithesis.

An alternative image emerges here: an unpolished prism casting a dim light over 21st-century Scandinavia.

Wesseltoft moves between piano and Rhodes, while Berglund and Öström challenge conventions on their respective instruments.

Very likely to sell out.
