SUMMARY:Rymden
LOCATION:Jazzklubben Playhouse på Valand\, Vasagatan 41\, 411 36 Götebo

DESCRIPTION:Finally back – After sold-out shows at major arenas\, you c
an now see them again at an intimate jazz club.\n\nRymden brings together
Nordic jazz musicians of the highest calibre – as sold-out concerts an
d critical acclaim attest.\n\nHere\, jazz is expanded with progressive ro
ck\, minimalism and art music. With the trio’s roots in Esbjörn Svenss
ons Trio\, elements of that legacy are carried forward.\n\nIf the quintes
sential “Scandinavian sound” is a meditation on snow-covered mountain
s\, misty beech forests and tranquil fjords\, Rymden is its antithesis.\n
\nAn alternative image emerges here: an unpolished prism casting a dim li
ght over 21st-century Scandinavia.\n\nWesseltoft moves between piano and
Rhodes\, while Berglund and Öström challenge conventions on their respe
ctive instruments.\n\nVery likely to sell out.\n\nBuy your ticket today!\
 n\nBugge Wesseltoft – piano\, keyboards\n\nDan Berglund – bass\n\nMag
 nus Öström – drums
