King Dude + Lamia Vox

After several acclaimed European tours, King Dude returns to Scandinavia for four exclusive shows in October. The tour visits Gothenburg, Malmö, Stockholm and Oslo, with acclaimed dark ambient artist Lamia Vox joining every concert as special guest.

Over the past fifteen years, King Dude has established himself as one of the most distinctive voices in dark folk and the alternative music scene. With his characteristic baritone, uncompromising stage presence and a catalogue spanning dark Americana, neofolk and post-industrial influences, he has built a loyal audience worldwide.

Lamia Vox, a respected name in the dark ambient and experimental music scenes, opens all four concerts on the Scandinavian tour. Her rare and immersive ritualistic live performances bring together ritual ambient, dark soundscapes, sacred vocal expression and industrial textures. At these four concerts, she will perform brand-new compositions alongside completely reworked classics from her own catalogue, marking a new and hypnotic chapter in her artistic journey.

Ahead of his return to Sweden, King Dude greets his fans in his own inimitable way: “I’m so fucking STOKED to come back to SWEDEN to play for you maniacs again! Expect me to bring all the classic King Dude songs and maybe (just maybe) a few new surprise ones too… Maybe some special guests will join me! Who fucking knows?! YOU can be sure that I will be joined on stage by my right hand man (on my left hand path) GARY freshly conjured from some forest in North America… So get ready to drink too much, laugh (and cry) too much, and let a couple of big dumb Americans into your cold Scandinavian hearts because I’m coming back to SWEDEN! I LOVE YOU YOU FILTHY FREAKS!!!”

With promises of classic songs, possible surprises and a band on top form, four evenings await, filled with darkness, humour, togetherness and music that moves between the beautiful and the relentless.
