Kalandra

Kalandra move between Nordic folk, atmospheric rock and dark alternative pop. With floating melodies and evocative arrangements, the Norwegian group create music that feels both ancient and contemporary.

Since their debut album “The Line”, Kalandra have, among other things, written the soundtrack for the wonderfully beautiful game “Kingdom Two Crowns: Norse Lands”. When they come to Sweden, their fourth studio album “The Other Side” will be their latest release.

On “The Other Side”, Kalandra explore dreams, with music that shifts between shimmering beauty and dark unease – moving from stripped-back piano ballads to heavier guitar passages. Folk tradition, introspection, life and death all come together in a sound that refuses to be neatly categorised.
