Behind de clair is singer-songwriter Clara Rudelius from Karlshamn – an artist whose powerful yet vulnerable voice carries the music with a rare presence.

She first picked up a guitar at just ten years old and was soon drawn to the black, out-of-tune grand piano in the living room. She immersed herself in the catalogues of Nico, Leonard Cohen, Bob Dylan and Björk – artists who would later become some of her main influences when she began writing and producing her own music.

The result is a sound that is as subtle as it is powerful: a minimalist approach to indie/alternative and folk, where delicate arrangements meet candid, sometimes provocative lyrics about the world's injustices, friendship, memories and love.

Her 2024 debut, “hiding mountains in the palm of my hand”, won the Newcomer of the Year award and received acclaim in reviews worldwide. An extensive tour followed that year, during which she performed alongside Amanda Bergman, Augustine, waterbaby and Ellen Krauss. Now she is back with new music and a number of exclusive performances around Sweden.
