Oceanen presents: CIVIL POLIS Much has been said about the anonymous glitch-rock band, streaming service and cultural association CIVIL POLIS. On 4 September, they release their second album Våldsvågen, the follow-up to last year's acclaimed album En man utan referenser.

An album that refuses to accept author W. David Marx's thesis on the death of subculture. The key to a functioning movement is, as we know, movement. There is no choice between pop and the avant-garde, between communication and innovation, between yesterday and today. What matters is that Våldsvågen is a portrait of the present, born of an artistic practice caught in an endless high; a result of the constant and necessary pursuit of an entirely new kind of electricity.

Accessibility

Kulturhuset Oceanen is a historic building with Q-listed heritage protection, which presents a challenge when it comes to accessibility. We do our best to make it possible for as many people as possible to visit us. For visitors using mobility aids, the entrance to the performance space is the most suitable. This is reached through Gathenhielmska trädgården. The entrance is locked, so please contact us one day before your visit, and no later than Friday at 16:00 if you are visiting over the weekend. There is a wheelchair-accessible toilet in the performance space. Personal assistants do not need to buy their own ticket, but please contact us in advance so that we can issue a ticket for them. Ticket refunds

We do not refund purchased tickets. This applies to all our events except Barnens Ocean. To cancel tickets for Barnens Ocean, email [email protected] If we cancel an event, all tickets, excluding the service fee, will automatically be refunded to the account you used to purchase the ticket or tickets.
