SUMMARY:CIVIL POLIS
LOCATION:Kulturhuset Oceanen\, Stigbergstorget 8\, 414 63 Göteborg
DESCRIPTION:Oceanen presents: CIVIL POLIS\n\nMuch has been said about the
anonymous glitch-rock band\, streaming service and cultural association
CIVIL POLIS. On 4 September\, they release their second album Våldsvåge
n\, the follow-up to last year's acclaimed album En man utan referenser.
An album that refuses to accept author W. David Marx's thesis on the deat
h of subculture. The key to a functioning movement is\, as we know\, move
ment. There is no choice between pop and the avant-garde\, between commun

t Våldsvågen is a portrait of the present\, born of an artistic practic
e caught in an endless high\; a result of the constant and necessary purs
uit of an entirely new kind of electricity.\n\n________\n\nAccessibility\
n\nKulturhuset Oceanen is a historic building with Q-listed heritage prot

our best to make it possible for as many people as possible to visit us.
For visitors using mobility aids\, the entrance to the performance space
is the most suitable. This is reached through Gathenhielmska trädgårde
 n. The entrance is locked\, so please contact us one day before your visi
t\, and no later than Friday at 16:00 if you are visiting over the weeken
 d. There is a wheelchair-accessible toilet in the performance space. Pers
onal assistants do not need to buy their own ticket\, but please contact
us in advance so that we can issue a ticket for them. Please note! Flashi
