Florence Valentin

In the early 2000s, Stockholm band Florence Valentin made their entrance onto the Swedish music scene.

Their debut single ”Allt dom bygger upp ska vi meja ner” caused quite a stir in the press, and when their debut EP of the same name was released shortly afterwards, it was clear that the country's indie rock scene had found new favourites.

With the full-length albums “Jonny Drama” (2004), “Pokerkväll i Vårby Gård” (2007) and the final release ”Spring Ricco” (2009), the band toured extensively across the country during their active years.

The band reunited in 2018, and 2020 saw the release of ”Det var en gång”, their long-awaited first album in eleven years. On 11 November, Florence Valentin will take to the stage at Nefertiti. With songs that have captivated an entire generation, the Stockholm band have become an integral part of Swedish indie rock history.
