Nynningen

NYNNINGEN at Hängmattan On Friday 15 January, Nynningen will be appearing at Hängmattan/Musikens Hus in

Gothenburg. It will be a special and intimate evening as one of Swedish prog’s most influential bands meets its audience in an unusual format – without bass and drums, but with Nynningen’s powerful songs, lyrics and musical intensity at the centre.

Since forming in 1971, Nynningen has made a clear mark on Swedish music history. Over the years, the band has moved freely between rock, jazz, improvisation and folk music, always with Swedish-language lyrics as its natural core.
