Getdown Services consists of Josh Law and Ben Sadler, two friends who met at school in Minehead and who have enjoyed a meteoric rise to fame in recent years, thanks to their distinctive and uninhibited blend of disco, hard rock and oddball pop. Their debut album Crisps, now a cult classic, was released through Breakfast Records in November 2023 to acclaim from the underground scene. It was followed by two EPs (Your Medal’s In The Post / Primordial Slot Machine) and two compilations of B-sides and rarities (Crumbs and Crumbs 2).

However, it is their recently released second album Massive Champion that has truly cemented the duo’s position as rising stars on the British music scene. The album is a tribute to their childhood and to the British cultural phenomena that shaped it, and is a perfect distillation of their explosive live performances. All thirteen tracks brim with the same boundless energy and subversive humour that see them completely take over every stage they step onto.

With more headline tours planned for 2026 and beyond, Getdown Services have not only proved themselves to be an unmissable live band, but also two of the most astute songwriters working today.
