It has almost become a tradition for Thorbjørn Risager & The Black Tornado to take to the stage at Pustervik and warm the hearts of Gothenburg. The Danish blues rockers are ready to take the audience by storm once again.

As always, you can expect an evening bursting with energy, musical joy and genuine feeling. Thorbjørn Risager’s powerful voice, together with the band’s tight, dynamic interplay, creates an atmosphere you can feel deep in your bones. Expect a soulful mix of blues, rock and soul – full of power and intensity.

Their latest album, House of Sticks, released last year, was widely praised for its well-judged blend of blues, boogie and roots rock. With energetic arrangements, infectious grooves and Risager’s versatile voice, the record has been described as one of the highlights of the band’s career – ranging from swaggering boogie to smouldering ballads.

We look forward to an evening where the band picks out gems from its repertoire, mixes familiar favourites with new material and delivers a few unexpected surprises.
