Skvaller

The performance explores the human phenomenon of how satisfying it is to gossip about others, yet how painful it is to be the target of other people's malicious talk.

Skvaller is about Nisse and Anna. Nisse is in love with Albin but has not yet admitted it to himself. Anna is in love with Nisse. Tonight they are going to a school reunion at Albin's. Both Anna and Nisse are suffering because of the rumours they have heard about themselves and each other, while both silently struggle with their own self-image. Without talking to each other, for fear of what the other might think.
