True Loves

TRUE LOVES (US) – Live at Nefertiti Wednesday 11 November

Seattle-based True Loves are not just a band – they are a feeling. An instrumental explosion of funk and soul that sounds like a block party on the move. Think sweaty grooves, roof-raising horns and rhythms that get the whole room moving.

Since forming in 2014, True Loves have grown from jam sessions into a global live force. With millions of streams and acclaimed tours behind them, they are known for a stage energy that is both tight and completely loose at the same time – professional but never stiff. This is music you feel in your body straight away.

“The True Loves are simply one of the best bands in Seattle… It’s the soundtrack to that car chase you’ve always wanted to be in.”

– John Richards, KEXP

“…a dreamscape of quick hits and neon lights…”

– Jake Uitti, KEXP

The band have released two acclaimed albums – Famous Last Words and Sunday Afternoon – and have new material out through their latest singles. But it is on stage that they truly belong.

“Just being in their company and listening to them play is a special thing to behold.”

– Saundra Williams (Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings)

This is groove at the highest level. No vocals needed – the instruments say it all.

More than just jazz.

An intimate concert experience with world-renowned acoustics, first-class food and drink – and a dance floor where you simply cannot stand still.
