100% Christmas-song-free with GrooveTrain There are certainly a few days when Christmas music in shops, cafés, restaurants and hot dog stands feels cosy.

But after a month of White Christmas, Last Christmas, It’s Christmas, Do They Know It’s Christmas, All I Want For Christmas and Happy Christmas, a certain queasiness sets in. Our socio-economic calculations show that this feeling peaks at 20:00 on 12 December.

When the need is greatest…

But at that very moment, the 11-piece band GrooveTrain will be on stage – ready with a balm for the soul and ears.

GrooveTrain has a long history as one of Gothenburg’s very finest soul bands, with a large line-up: backline, 2 singers, 4 horn players and percussion. GrooveTrain’s sound has often been described as big, expansive and tight, but it can also be intimate and heartfelt when the moment calls for it.

12 December will be a 100% Christmas-song-free evening of nothing but classic soul and funk as you travel from Motown and Hitsville to Philly, LA, and also to London and Stockholm with GrooveTrain.
