The Watch plays Genesis – Tales from 1970–1976

The Watch plays Genesis returns to Sweden with Tales from 1970–1976 following their hugely successful debut tour in 2025. The tour includes concerts in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Uppsala and Malmö.

The band takes audiences on a vivid musical journey through Genesis’s legendary years of 1970–1976 – the era that defined progressive rock. With meticulous attention to detail and a sound that faithfully reflects the Peter Gabriel era, The Watch plays Genesis recreates classic albums and iconic moments.

The repertoire draws on Trespass, Nursery Cryme, Foxtrot, Selling England by the Pound and the acclaimed double album The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway. No other group captures Genesis’s adventurous spirit and electric energy from those pioneering years with the same authenticity.

Steve Hackett (Genesis): “The Watch is a band of very talented musicians and I recommend them highly!”
