Strap your brain in and let the rest go. When The Orb take over Pustervik in Gothenburg, they bring a universe of dub, acid house, floating ambient, bizarre samples and a heavy bassline that rearranges your internal organs. In spring 2027, they will take Swedish audiences on a trip beyond Ultraworld!

It starts with a rumble in the floor. A voice from an old film drifts past. A synth flickers a few light years away. The bass swells, the beat starts moving and suddenly the entire room has left Earth's orbit.

Welcome to The Orb. On stage, it all becomes one big psychedelic melting pot. "Little Fluffy Clouds", "The Blue Room" and the other classics rub shoulders with more recent excursions as Paterson and Michael Rendall twist, mix, build and launch the soundscape straight into the cosmos.

One second, you're floating weightlessly. The next, you're in the middle of a massive groove, wondering when the floor started swaying.

Their 2023 album Prism thundered through ambient, house, dub, reggae and drum’n’bass. Since then, they have returned to their collaboration with Pink Floyd's David Gilmour, brought together their career on Orboretum and released yet another new album, Buddhist Hipsters, in 2025.

So yes, there's history here. Plenty of it! But in front of the stage, it's much simpler: powerful bass, big sounds, strange flights of fancy and an excellent evening for losing touch with planet Earth for a while.
