In autumn 2026, David Ritschard made entertainment history in his hometown of Stockholm when he became the first artist ever to sell out no fewer than 15 shows at Södra Teatern. But the most impressive thing about the concert series was not the number of sold-out shows, but the powerful live experience the audience enjoyed.

“Overwhelming and utterly raw,” wrote Aftonbladet about the opening night in a glowing double-page review. His much-loved catalogue of songs, mixed with carefully chosen covers, was presented in new arrangements featuring a grand piano and a horn section. The programme became a work of art in its own right, captured on the live album “Skärvor från Södra Teatern”.

But that creative spark did not stop there. Ritschard’s next step was to take his music in the opposite direction. The single Mint Condition showcased a big, exuberant sound with gospel choirs and a jukebox groove. Accompanied by a big band, he performed for audiences over the summer at two further major milestones in his career: Gröna Lund’s classic stage in his hometown and his biggest festival performance to date at Way Out West in Gothenburg.

What David Ritschard has not done for a long time, however, is a nationwide tour. So this spring, it is finally time to visit Gävle, Luleå, Skellefteå, Borås, Norrköping, Falun, Karlstad, Malmö and Lund. There will also be a stop in Oslo and return visits to Stockholm and Gothenburg.
