Ebba Forsberg – Hallelujah

Life, death and everything (that fits) in between Ebba Forsberg interprets Leonard Cohen, Bob Dylan and Tom Waits in a church setting – in a concert where every line is given room to carry weight, unsettle and shine to the full.

With her church tour Hallelujah, she moves between grief, comfort, defiance and grace in songs that go straight to the heart.

In Hallelujah, their songs meet a voice that makes them fragile, dangerous and utterly essential.

Here you will find poetry, darkness, prayer, dirt and the kind of beauty that makes no attempt to gloss over anything. This is music for a church setting – not because it is pious, but because it dares to be true.

We all live with losses we carry and hopes we hold on to. In between lies music – a language that reaches where words cannot.

This is a church concert that inhabits the difficult and the beautiful at the same time.

Life, death and everything (that fits) in between is an evening for anyone who feels that life is so much more than meets the naked eye. Grief and joy, silence and sound, farewell and presence. A concert about the things we cannot avoid and the things we do not want to miss.
