SUMMARY:Ebba Forsberg – Hallelujah
LOCATION:Masthuggskyrkan\, Storebackegatan 15\, 413 18 Göteborg
DESCRIPTION:Life\, death and everything (that fits) in between\n\nEbba Fo
rsberg interprets Leonard Cohen\, Bob Dylan and Tom Waits in a church set
ting – in a concert where every line is given room to carry weight\, un
settle and shine to the full. With her church tour Hallelujah\, she moves
between grief\, comfort\, defiance and grace in songs that go straight t
o the heart.\n\nIn Hallelujah\, their songs meet a voice that makes them
fragile\, dangerous and utterly essential.\n\nHere you will find poetry\,
darkness\, prayer\, dirt and the kind of beauty that makes no attempt to
gloss over anything. This is music for a church setting – not because
it is pious\, but because it dares to be true.\n\nWe all live with losses
we carry and hopes we hold on to. In between lies music – a language t
hat reaches where words cannot.\n\nThis is a church concert that inhabits
the difficult and the beautiful at the same time.\n\nLife\, death and ev
erything (that fits) in between is an evening for anyone who feels that l
ife is so much more than meets the naked eye. Grief and joy\, silence and
sound\, farewell and presence. A concert about the things we cannot avoi
d and the things we do not want to miss.\n\nDuration: Approx. 90 minutes
