Christmas with Franska Trion has become an annual tradition – a Christmas show as much a fixture as it is idiosyncratic, where melancholy, humour and musical brilliance meet.

Franska Trion formed in Gothenburg and over the years have established themselves as one of Sweden’s most distinctive live bands. With their unique blend of jazz, rock, blues and the Swedish song tradition, they create concerts that are intense, swinging and deeply personal.

In December they return with Jul med Franska Trion, a Christmas show that has become a tradition for both the band and their audience. A handful of familiar Christmas songs sit alongside Franska Trion’s own material – all performed with the tension, darkness and playfulness that have become the band’s hallmark.

2026 will also be an exciting year for Franska Trion. In September the band will release their new album “Livet som maskin”, a new chapter in their musical journey, followed by a Christmas tour where the new material meets the annual Christmas tradition.

Jul med Franska Trion is Christmas their own way – grand in its small gestures and utterly unpredictable.
