othenburg in November!\n\nAfter more than a decade without new music\, Go
thenburg-based soul collective The Magnolia are back. Following acclaimed
performances at Rosendal Garden Party and Way Out West\, two concerts no
w await in November\, in Stockholm and on home turf in Gothenburg.\n\nThe
Magnolia have gained near-cult status on the Swedish soul scene\, both a
s a starting point for Albin Lee Meldau and Arvid Nero and for their dist
inctive sound. With two powerful voices out front\, the band have created
a timeless blend of soul\, weight and fragility\, rooted as much in Goth
enburg as in classic Memphis soul.\n\nThe band formed around 2010 and rel
eased their debut album in 2015\, before falling silent. More than ten ye
ars later\, the members found their way back to one another and\, togethe
r with American songwriter and producer Old Sea Brigade (Benjamin George
Cramer)\, The Magnolia have now recorded their second album\, which will
 be released on 4 September.\n\nFollowing their much-talked-about return t
o the live stage this summer\, the next chapter now continues.
