KMFDM emerged from the European underground scene in the 80s and have been an ever-growing presence in industrial metal, part of the industrial wave that crashed into the mainstream in the 90s alongside bands such as Nine Inch Nails and Ministry. With their bold, propaganda-inspired album covers and techno-metal anthems, they placed greater emphasis on pulsating dance rhythms and provocative messages than their darker contemporaries.

After more than 40 years of conceptual continuity, KMFDM show no signs of slowing down or softening. On the contrary, they are at the top of their game, more vibrant and energetic than ever. Led by founder and ever-present member Sascha Konietzko, they will paint Pustervik black in March.
