SUMMARY:Ebba Forsberg – Hallelujah
LOCATION:Masthuggskyrkan\, Storebackegatan 15\, 413 18 Göteborg
DESCRIPTION:Life\, death and everything (held) in between\n\nEbba Forsber
g interprets Leonard Cohen\, Bob Dylan and Tom Waits in a church setting
 – in a concert where every line is given room to carry weight\, unsettl
e and shine. With her church tour Hallelujah\, she moves between grief\,
solace\, defiance and grace in songs that go straight to the heart.\n\nIn
Hallelujah\, their songs meet a voice that makes them fragile\, dangerou
 s and utterly essential.\n\nThere is poetry here\, darkness\, prayer\, gr
it and the kind of beauty that makes no attempt to smooth anything over.
This is music for a church setting – not because it is pious\, but beca
use it dares to be true.\n\nWe all live with losses we carry and hopes we
hold on to. In between lies music – a language that reaches where word
s cannot.\n\nThis is a church concert that inhabits the difficult and the
beautiful at the same time.\n\nLife\, death and everything (held) in bet
ween is an evening for anyone who feels that life is so much more than me
ets the eye. Grief and joy\, silence and sound\, farewells and presence.
A concert about the things we cannot avoid and the things we do not want
 to miss.\n\nDuration: Approx. 90 minutes
