SARA PARKMAN

Pustervik 26 October 2026

Age restriction: 18+

On stage at approx. 20:00

Since her debut in 2016, Sara Parkman has pushed the boundaries of what folk music can be. Her albums have repeatedly been praised for weaving together tradition and the future. Along the way, she has received a number of prestigious awards – from Grammis and DN:s Kulturpris to Ulla Billquist-stipendiet – and has sold out tour after tour. As a figurehead of a movement larger than herself, she has also carved out a distinct place for Scandinavian folk music, not least through her involvement in her own record label, Supertraditional. In 2025, Parkman took part in Nobel Assembly’s “Hard Rain” project alongside names such as Iggy Pop and Laurie Anderson, and toured the world with the darkly eclectic project Funeral Folk.
