Thursday Jazz – Mango Django

Throughout the autumn, Thursday Jazz invites you to atmospheric jazz evenings filled with swing, the joy of playing and first-class music. The programme offers everything from Swedish jazz icons and modern jazz to hot jazz and jazz songs.

Every Thursday brings a unique concert experience where music, presence and passion take centre stage.

This evening, Mango Django take to the stage. They pay tribute to guitar legend Django Reinhardt and swinging Manouche jazz. With the same instrumental line-up as Django’s classic Hot Club de France, the band play heartfelt, swinging acoustic jazz with warmth and elegance. Most of the material is original, and this elegant quartet are guaranteed to make the evening special. It is playful, it is traditional – but never predictable.
