Artist lovad releases the EP “Historien om mig” and heads out on tour

On 12 June, Lovad releases her new EP “Historien om mig” – a powerful and personal work comprising five songs, five stories and a deep emotional imprint. Drawing on her own life, she invites listeners into an intimate account of the relationships, experiences and memories that have shaped her, including an encounter with her younger self.

To coincide with the release, Lovad is heading out on tour over the summer and autumn, giving audiences the chance to experience the songs live across the country. Three additional shows have now also been confirmed for the tour schedule. Tickets go on sale on 22 May at 12.00 via allthingslive.se

Speaking about the EP, lovad says: “I believe we are shaped as much by what we survive as by what we dream of. Historien om mig is almost like letters to the relationships that have shaped me. It moves between sisterhood, lost love, motherhood and, at times, fighting to stay alive. Hence the title track, a reflection addressed to my younger self. For me, it became a reflection on half a lifetime – what you lose, what you gain and what you wish you had known earlier.”

In recent years, artist lovad (Lova Drevstam) has made a distinct mark on the Swedish music scene through appearances on programmes including Melodifestivalen, Nyhetsmorgon and Lotta på Liseberg. With over 15 million streams annually, collaborations with Mauro Scocco and Albin Johnsén, and a loyal and rapidly growing audience, she has established herself as a distinctive voice on the Swedish music scene.

She has released albums, toured throughout Sweden and sold out Södra Teatern, while her songwriting has been recognised with a grant from STIM. In her creative work, lovad often draws inspiration from her own life, with the stories and her powerful voice taking centre stage. With the EP “Historien om mig”, she now takes the next step, presenting her most personal project to date.
