Kaeli Abdi – Påskkärringen

She has won “Förrädarna”, taken on a Vasalopp challenge set by Gunde Svan in “Mot alla odds” and dated football stars on TV.

Comedian, presenter and TikTok sensation Kaeli Abdi is now on first-name terms with the Swedish public, and this autumn she is presenting her first solo comedy show – “Påskkärringen”. “People have called me an Easter witch all my life, trying to be funny.

Now that I’m the one trying to be funny, it feels fitting to reclaim the word.”

– I’m so excited! It feels like I’m heading out to meet my friends all around Sweden. Lots of people have followed me on social media for a long time, so now I finally get to share a laugh in person with my internet friends, says Kaeli.

In her first solo show, Kaeli will bring together the worlds she comes from.

– “Påskkärringen” is a comedy show about my childhood, the people I grew up with, the “Swedish” world and the “immigrant world”. I think the funniest things to joke about are the things we share – family, culture clashes and relationships, says Kaeli.

“Påskkärringen” premieres at Jönköpings teater on 2 October

The performance lasts approximately 75 minutes without an interval.

No age restriction, but the show is recommended for ages 15 and over.
