DESCRIPTION:Few Swedish artists are as instantly recognisable as Dolce. T
 he duo\, consisting of Anna Levander and Leopold Nilsson\, made their deb
 ut in 2014 with the EP Gröna höjder and have since released three criti
 cally acclaimed albums: Av liv och grönska\, Ur aska and Ett liv. All th
 e albums – as well as the new EP Lilla Döden – were recorded with pr
 oducer and friend Mattias Glavå.\n\nOver their ten-year career\, Dolce h
 ave moved freely between styles\, while always retaining a distinct sound
  and aesthetic of their own. The forthcoming EP Lilla Döden therefore so
 unds both new and familiar. The acoustic\, airy and escapist qualities re
 main\, now with a distinct French influence inspired by Serge Gainsbourg 
 and Sébastien Tellier. The sound is cool and sensual\, firmly rooted in 
 the French musical tradition.\n\nLilla döden is Dolce’s most explicit 
 exploration of sex and sexuality to date. The lyrics revolve around desir
 e\, vulnerability and forbidden longings. The title refers to the French 
 expression La petite mort – a poetic term for orgasm with roots dating 
 back to the 16th century.\n\nMyths run like a thread through the EP\, wit
 h references to Narcissus\, Psyche and Cupid\, as well as Pygmalion. The 
 theme of metamorphosis permeates the whole work: the need for constant ch
 ange and the fear of becoming set in one’s ways. This is where Dolce ar
 e in 2026 – taking an airy step towards something new.\n\nDoors open at
