The Chameleons

THE CHAMELEONS - Chameleons formed in Manchester, UK, in 1981 and became one of post-punk’s most musically distinctive bands.

Their atmospheric guitar sound, intense live performances and poetically charged, introspective lyrics created a musical legacy that has inspired artists and bands such as The Smashing Pumpkins, Interpol and Oasis.

After releasing groundbreaking albums such as Script of the Bridge and Strange Times, founding members Vox (Mark Burgess) and Reg Smithies returned in 2021 with a new line-up comprising Stephen Rice, Danny Ashberry and Todd Demma – and a renewed focus.
