Enven

Enven takes to the stage at Nefertiti on 14 November for the release party of their debut album Lovers Tirade.

For three years, singer-songwriter Enven and musician and producer Filip Yousef Bäcklund have explored soul and pop from an analogue perspective in their studio on Smedjegatan and at Svenska Grammmofonstudion.

Lovers Tirade tells stories of the darker sides of love, greed and enlightenment. The vocals are expressive and glowing, and the lyrics fearless and raw, while conveying an embracing truth. The sound moves in waves between soul, pop and jazz, where the organic meets the modern and the fragile sits alongside the uncompromising.
