Barnens Ocean: Tatreez Workshop
Oceanen presents: Barnens Ocean: Tatreez Workshop Welcome to a creative workshop for children aged 7–10, where we’ll discover Tatreez, the traditional Palestinian art of embroidery.
During the workshop, we’ll look at what Tatreez is, how the art of embroidery has developed over time, and its significance as part of Palestinian cultural heritage. The children will then learn the basics of Tatreez and try embroidering a simple, lovely design to take home.
No prior experience is needed. The workshop is designed for children, with a focus on learning, creating and having fun together!
One ticket is valid for one child accompanied by an adult________
Accessibility
Kulturhuset Oceanen is a Q-marked historic cultural building, which presents a challenge when it comes to accessibility. We do our best to make it possible for as many people as possible to visit us. If you are visiting with a mobility aid, the entrance via the stage entrance is the most suitable. It can be reached through Gathenhielmska trädgården. The entrance is locked, so we ask you to contact us one day before your visit, and no later than Friday at 16:00 if you are visiting us over the weekend. There is a wheelchair-accessible toilet in the stage venue. Personal assistants do not need to buy a ticket, but please contact us in advance so that we can issue a ticket for them. Please note: flashing lights may occur during concerts and events. For questions about accessibility, contact Mia Herman at [email protected].
Ticket refunds
We do not refund purchased tickets. This applies to all our events except Barnens Ocean. To cancel tickets for Barnens Ocean, email [email protected].
If we cancel an event, all tickets will be automatically refunded, excluding the service fee, to the account used to buy the ticket(s).
