Bokassa + The Crypt

The Norwegian powerhouse Bokassa returns to the stage with their new album “Anomalies” in 2027! The power trio are heading out on a tour across Europe, including an exclusive performance in Sweden, in Gothenburg on 6 May, to celebrate their fifth album, “Anomalies”.

Bokassa serve up a mix of everything from punk, metal and rock to their own brand of stonerpunk, which has seen them tour with bands such as Clutch, Lagwagon, Therapy? and Mastodon. The same genre-blending has also made them hard to pigeonhole. In a world where people tend to like bands and artists who sound quite like other bands and artists they like, Bokassa mostly sound like themselves.

Still, the band have managed to try deep-fried pizza in Scotland, cheese fondue in the Alps and play at some of the world’s biggest festivals, including Wacken, Download and Hellfest. And, of course, tour with Metallica.

Welcome Bokassa to Gothenburg and to Monument!
