SUMMARY:Newkid – Akust-ish
LOCATION:Big Stage Jacyz\, Drakegatan 10\, 41250 Göteborg
DESCRIPTION:After years on big stages\, with pyrotechnics and productions
designed to feel larger than life\, Newkid is now doing something new: g
etting closer.\n\nOn Saturday 6 March\, he takes to Big Stage at Jacy'z.\
n\n– "The setup isn't entirely acoustic\, but ish\," says Newkid himsel
f of the format.\n\nAnd perhaps that is precisely the essence of it. A st
ripped-back stage presentation without losing the energy or grandeur of t
he music – a space where the songs can breathe in a new way\, and where
the audience gets closer to both the music and the person behind it.\n\n
With over 15 years of music behind him\, Newkid now invites you to a more
personal encounter. From early hip-hop and R&B influences to the big pop
songs that have been streamed over half a billion times – the music ta
kes on a new form: intimate\, vulnerable and honest.\n\nHis EP Powerballa
der\, released earlier this spring\, is also out now\, continuing his exp
loration of powerful emotions\, strong melodies and stories of love\, dou
bt and finding your way home.\n\nADDITIONAL INFORMATION\n\nDoors open: 20
 .00\n\nRunning time:\n\nApproximately 90 minutes. The exact finish time c
 annot be guaranteed.\n\nInterval:\n\nNo\n\nAge restriction: 18 and over\n
