SUMMARY:Orsak:Oslo + Henchlock
LOCATION:Fyrens Ölkafé\, Stigbergstorget 1\, 41463 Göteborg
DESCRIPTION:ORSAK:OSLO\n\nOrsak:Oslo play a distinctive instrumental blen
d of post-rock\, doom\, psychedelic rock and krautrock\, characterised by
fuzz-driven melodies and a pronounced Nordic melancholy.\n\nOver the pas
t few years\, the band have played numerous gigs and festivals across Eur
ope\, including Sonic Whip (NL)\, Sonic Rites (FI)\, Desertfest London\,
Desertfest Oslo and Freak Valley Festival. They also supported King Buffa
lo on parts of their 2023 European tour.\n\nLast autumn\, O:O released th
e album Silt & Static through Vinter Records to strong international revi
ews. They are currently back in the studio working on new material and pr
eparing to head out on tour again this autumn.\n\nHENCHLOCK\n\nHenchlock
are an instrumental band rooted in psychedelic rock\, where heavy fuzz ri
ffs meet expansive\, free improvisation. Drawing inspiration from obscure
Japanese psychedelia and the hypnotic drive of krautrock\, their music m
oves between repetitive power and exploratory\, free jazz-influenced land
scapes.\n\nSo far\, Henchlock have primarily existed as an underground li
ve project\, building their reputation through intense and immersive perf
ormances. Their debut album will be released on 10 September this year.\n
