Three exclusive evenings await this December at the historic Valand in Gothenburg.

A lavish Christmas buffet. Live music. An international Elvis performer. And a show built around a fascinating idea:

What if Elvis had been able to experience that night that never happened?

ELVIS! The Night That Never Was is a 60-minute concert experience where Elvis Presley's musical journey meets the songs, artists and musical encounters that could have become a reality.

DIRECT FROM LONDON'S WEST END

Centre stage is Gareth Nugent, known for his leading role as Elvis in London's West End.

Together with Swedish country artist Ellinor Springstrike and live musicians, he takes the audience on a journey from Elvis's legendary comeback era to Las Vegas – before opening the door to The Night That Never Was.

The show is filled with familiar songs, powerful voices, live music, costume changes and visual elements. It lasts approximately 60 minutes and is performed without an interval.

A SPECIAL TRIBUTE TO DOLLY PARTON

Part of the evening is devoted to the music of Dolly Parton and the special connection between Dolly and Elvis.

The story behind I Will Always Love You features in the show, alongside music from Dolly Parton's songbook.

It is a musical meeting of Elvis, country and some of the songs that generation after generation have continued to love.

EVENING PROGRAMME

19.00 – Christmas buffet

The evening begins with Valand's lavish Christmas buffet in the classic function suite right on Avenyn.

21.00 – ELVIS! The Night That Never Was

The show begins, with Gareth Nugent, Ellinor Springstrike and live musicians taking over the stage for approximately 60 minutes.

On Friday and Saturday, the evening continues.

After the show, free entry to Valand's nightclub is included for the evening's guests.
