American Harmonies

AMERICAN HARMONIES – two bands, two legendary sounds! On Saturday 28 November, two Gothenburg bands come together at Opalen for a full evening dedicated to American vocal harmonies – from The Beach Boys’ sunny California to Eagles’ classic West Coast rock.

BHONUS plays The Beach Boys

Bhonus have a long history on the Swedish music scene and are known not least for their vocal harmonies. The band have also previously taken on The Beach Boys, performing as them on the TV programme Sikta mot stjärnorna. Now it’s time to do it again! Expect classics such as I Get Around, Surfin’ U.S.A., Help Me, Rhonda, Good Vibrations, Surfer Girl and many more.

ÖRNARNA plays Eagles

Örnarna have made a name for themselves by paying tribute to one of the true greats of American West Coast rock – Eagles. With vocal harmonies and guitars taking centre stage, this will be a journey through the band’s fantastic songbook, featuring songs such as Take It Easy, Peaceful Easy Feeling, Tequila Sunrise, One of These Nights, Lyin’ Eyes, New Kid in Town and, of course, Hotel California.

To round off the evening, Bhonus and Örnarna come together on stage for a joint jam – where anything can happen!

Two Gothenburg bands. Two American giants. An evening filled with harmonies.
