SUMMARY:Arvid Jullander Trio
LOCATION:Nefertiti\, Hvitfeldtsplatsen 6\, 41120 Göteborg
DESCRIPTION:Arvid Jullander Trio feat. Alexander Lövmark - Asian homecom
ing party!\n\nAfter more than a month touring Asia\, the quartet are back
on the west coast. The band recount their jazz crusade\, which took them
through dusty Bangalore\, bustling Tokyo and finally all the way to the
remote Japanese island of Hokkaido. All to spread the message of jazz!\n\
nSome forty concerts later\, the quartet are incredibly tight and now tak
e to the stage to share their experiences from the Far East. The band's u
sual repertoire of jazz standards and well-known pop hits given a jazz tr
eatment now sits alongside brand-new music composed beneath blossoming ch
erry trees in the suburbs of Osaka. All burnished by hundreds of hours on
bumpy Indian roads and to the sound of relatively recently tuned Yamaha
grand pianos in decadent Japanese jazz clubs.\n\nBack home\, Arvid Jullan
der Trio have been much talked about ever since their 2025 debut album Ba
nne mig! on the award-winning HOOB Records (Label of the Year – Manifes
tgalan 2025).\n\nArvid Jullander is the bassist everyone is talking about
. With his lyrical\, virtuoso playing\, he has been an established presen
ce on the Scandinavian jazz scene for over a decade and has received nume
rous prestigious awards\, not least the 2018 Monica Zetterlund scholarshi
p.\n\nThe trio also features the extraordinary drummer Adam Ross\, whose
thoroughly musical playing has left a lasting impression on the ears of m
usic connoisseurs in Sweden and around the world.\n\nOn piano\, you will
 hear…
