Bäck is a Gothenburg-based music project founded in 2024 by singer, songwriter and producer Daniel Johansson Beckman. From a dream of playing double bass, via guitar and several bands, he has arrived at his solo project Bäck. Like his guiding light Bon Iver, he does everything himself: writing, recording and producing entirely on his own, with all the imperfections that come with it. With dynamic songs and introspective lyrics, Bäck moves between indie pop, folk and indie rock.

Bäck’s debut album “Fyra meter fram” is released on vinyl on 2 October through the record label Ella Ruth Institutet. The record explores reflections on life – loneliness, gratitude, death & life, goals & meaning, failures and love.
