SUMMARY:Tomten är far till alla barnen
LOCATION:Scandinavium\, Valhallagatan 1\, 41251 Göteborg
DESCRIPTION:TOMTEN ÄR FAR TILL ALLA BARNEN After sold-out performances\,
audience laughter and acclaim from critics and audiences alike during 20
24/2025 at Cirkus in Stockholm\, the stage hit Tomten är far till alla b
arnen now returns to selected venues in Sweden.\n\nWhen the much-loved cu
lt film from 1999 first took to the stage in 2024\, a whole new Swedish C
hristmas tradition was born.\n\nOn stage\, audiences followed the now-leg
endary Christmas Eve when Sara invites her three ex-husbands and their ne
w families to her home to celebrate Christmas with her reluctant partner
Janne.\n\nWhat was meant to be an idyllic family celebration quickly desc
ends into explosive chaos as old relationships\, secrets and conflicts er
upt in front of the Christmas tree.\n\nDirector Rikard Bergqvist transfor
med the film’s cult story into a fast-paced stage production packed wit
h physical comedy\, musical numbers and an outstanding cast.\n\nCritics d
escribed the result as a whirlwind of laughter where the audience’s ini
tial hesitation quickly gave way to roars of laughter.\n\nThe Stockholm p
remiere in November 2024 marked the start of a hit with audiences.\n\nThe
production played to full houses\, was acclaimed by the evening press an
d continued to grow in popularity throughout 2025 -- when\, among other a
ccolades\, it won "Stage Production of the Year" at Svenska Humorpriset.\
n\nThis hysterically funny\, lovingly chaotic and utterly unpredictable C
hristmas Eve returns in 2026 with some of Sweden’s best-loved actors.\n
