The first Gothenburg performance of Across the River – The Songs of Bruce Springsteen on 10 October is now sold out.

The show was originally planned as an exclusive one-night-only evening at Kaffe Kid, but after tickets sold out quickly, an extra performance has been added on 17 October.

An intimate evening with the songs, words and stories of one of the greatest songwriters of our time.

On 10 October, Across the River – The Songs of Bruce Springsteen comes to Kaffe Kid for an exclusive one-night-only performance in Gothenburg.

Over two acts, singer-songwriter Martin Lönegren interprets Bruce Springsteen's music in its most stripped-back form – with voice, acoustic guitar and harmonica.

The songs take centre stage here. From some of Springsteen's best-loved classics, such as Thunder Road, The River, Born to Run and I'm on Fire, to the darker, more understated songs about love, longing, loss, work and the dream of a different life.

Between songs, Martin weaves in stories and context from Springsteen's long career, but above all, Across the River is a concert – a chance to experience the music up close, stripped back to what was there at the beginning: a song, a story and a guitar.

Martin Lönegren is a Swedish singer-songwriter with roots in americana, country and the singer-songwriter tradition, and has performed nearly 200 concerts across Sweden in recent years.

During the autumn and winter, Across the River heads out on tour, with stops including Malmö, Höganäs, Oskarshamn, Västervik, Mariefred and Stockholm.

In Gothenburg, the show will be performed on this evening only, in the small, intimate space at Kaffe Kid.
