Naturreservatet utgör den dalgång som reser sig på varsin sida om Göta Älv och sträcker sig mellan Trollhättans berömda fall och slussområdet. Här finns bland annat vackra promenadstigar, anrika byggnader och den mycket populära utsiktsplatsen Kopparklinten.
