Sveriges första kulturhus!
Skövde Kulturhus stod klart redan 1964 och blev med det Sveriges första av sitt slag. Kulturhuset rymmer i dag bland annat bibliotek, teater, bio, konsthall och konstmuseum och är ett av regionens största besöksmål.
I Odeon, som är länets modernaste biograf, visas hundratals filmer varje år. Här finns en salong med närmare 150 platser. Skövde Stadsteater rymmer samtidigt dryga 500 besökare och bjuder årligen på flera teateruppsättningar, dansföreställningar och konserter.
I konstmuseet kan besökare beskåda verk från tidigt 1900-tal fram till i dag. Här finns framförallt verk av svenska konstnärer så som Sigrid Hjertén, Vera Nilsson, Roj Friberg och Ernst Josefsson. I konsthallen ställs det årligen ut verk av samtida konstnärer.
